Evermind is designed to help you organize date-sensitive information such as food, medicine, household items, documents, and renewals. Parts of the app are designed around a local-first model, and some features may process data on remote infrastructure when account, sync, AI, diagnostics, or media services are enabled.

2. Information you provide

We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, profile details, item records, notes, categories, spaces, reminder settings, uploaded photos, and support requests.

If you use account-based or collaborative features, the information you add to those features may be stored on our servers or with infrastructure providers acting on our behalf.

3. Information collected automatically

Depending on the features you use, we may collect technical and diagnostic information such as device identifiers, app version, crash logs, session data, coarse usage telemetry, request metadata, and authentication events.

We may also receive metadata related to notifications, images, or sync behavior when those features are used.

4. Permissions and device access

Evermind may request access to your camera, photo library, notifications, and local secure storage so the app can capture images, save credentials securely, and schedule reminders.

• Camera or photo access is used to attach images to items or support smart capture features.
• Notification permission is used for local reminder delivery and related reminder actions.
• Secure local storage is used for tokens or other sensitive session data when account features are enabled.

5. How we use information

We use information to operate the app, authenticate users, store and organize your records, schedule reminders, provide support, improve reliability, protect against abuse, and develop or refine features.

When AI-assisted features are enabled, submitted text or images may be processed to extract structured suggestions, labels, or metadata related to your content.

6. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Evermind, such as cloud hosting, storage, authentication, diagnostics, email, analytics, or AI-processing vendors.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer.

7. Data retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements.

Locally stored records may remain on your device until you delete them, uninstall the app, or clear application data. Server-side records may persist for a limited period in backups, logs, or security systems after deletion requests, subject to legal and operational constraints.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain processing of your information. You may also be able to adjust app permissions and notification settings directly on your device.
